Bat Eini - Lemberg edition 1879
Sefer Bat Eini, innovations in Shas and Responsa, by Rabbi Issachar Dov Ber of Zvi Av Beit Din of Zlotchov, a disciple of the Maggid of Mezritz and Rabbi Yechiel Michal of Zlotchov. Lemberg edition 1879.
The author is a cousin of Rabbi Levi Yitzchak of Berditchov, with whom he became friends while living together in the city of Lubertov. Rabbi Issachar Ber was later appointed Av Beit Din of Zlotchov, established a yeshiva there and maintained responsa relations with the greats of his generation. Among his disciples was Rabbi Chaim of Chernivtsi, author of "Beer Maim Chaim", who tells in his book "Eretz Chaim" about the Holy Spirit he saw in his rabbi. Rabbi Yitzchak Isaac of Qumran testified on him that never damaged even a slight in Yirat Hashe'm.
