Document of dispute from the communities of Kosov and Viznitz in Safed, Tiberias and Jerusalem, about the matter of monetary division of Kolel Viznitz. With signatures of Rabbanim and esteemed people of Tiberias, 1889.
Fascinating and important document of dispute, touching the issue of monetary division of the Kollelim and dealing with the heated dispute between the Chassidim of Hrh"k the Tzemach Tzadik of Viznitz and the Chassidim of Kosov, who were Gabbaim of the Kollelim in Safed, Tiberias and Jerusalem.
The declaration is written in very beautiful Rash"i lettering, on a large sheet, the Viznitz Chassidim of 'נשיא ארץ ישראל מרן מוויזניץ שליט"א' ('Leader of Eretz Yisrael Moron Viznitz shlit"a'), turn with a great call to change the basis of the order of dividing the funds of Kolel Viznitz. Claiming of scams and larceny that are constantly being made among the Gabbaim of the Kollelim, describing in length of different attempts of closure, in which the Rothschild family from overseas were also involved.
The large and important document was signed by the Gaon Rabbi Avraham Tzvi HaLevi Rab"d of Tiberias and more important Rabbanim of the Tiberias community. Also stamped with the stamp of the Beit Din of Tiberias.
