Okorokov Boris Vladimirovich (born in 1933 in Moscow - 2005).
Honoured artist of the RSFSR (1982)Well-known Moscow painter. Studied in the Moscow State Institute of Arts named after V.I. Surikov under M.I. Kurilko, F.P. Reshetnikov, and V.K. Nechitailo. He graduated from the institute with honours (workshop of V.G. Tsyplakov). Since 1960 he has been a member of the USSR Union of Artists. Worked in the Studio of Military Artists named after M.B. Grekov (1962-1968). Member of the Board of the Moscow Organization of the RSFSR Union of Artists (1971-1975). Works by B. Okorokov are in museums and private collections in Russia, the Ukraine, England, Holland, Hungary, Czechia, the USA, France, Poland, Germany, Italy, Spain, Montenegro, Cyprus.
