GLAZUNOV ILYA SERGEEVICH (1930-2017)
Soviet, Russian artist-painter, set designer, teacher. People's Artist of the USSR. Full Commander of the Order of Merit for the Fatherland. Founder and rector of the Russian Academy of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture. Glazunov was also known as a talented set designer. years Glazunov was the artistic director of the restoration of the Grand Kremlin Palace. On August 31, 2004, the Moscow State Art Gallery of Ilya Glazunov was opened. Glazunov was a full member of the Russian Academy of Arts, a member of the Royal Academy of Arts of Madrid and Barcelonа.
