Andronov N.I. Shelikhov V.V.

Shelikhov Valery Viktorovich. Born in 1954 Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR, laureate of the Mossovet Prize in the field of fine arts, professor emeritus of the British Royal College of Restoration, studied and worked with the monumental artist G.N. Teblyashkin for 11 years, then studied and collaborated with the painter and monumentalist academician N.I. Andronov for 16 years. ... The master works and resides in the United States. Artist Valery Shelikhov, unique in his talent and versatility of talent. Valery is a monumental artist. His monumental and decorative works - mosaics, paintings, reliefs, stained-glass windows, parquet floors, etc. adorn many buildings around the world. He has a lot of experience and a good school behind him. Art and craft school, forestry technical school, three years of study at Stroganovka. A brilliant restorer, ceramist, he mastered the blacksmith's craft first-class - he himself makes hinges, locks, keys for his furniture. Valery is an interesting painter, he has participated in exhibitions more than once. He was the only Russian craftsman who mastered the rare frame-making technique, the so-called Flemish track, which is appreciated all over the world. These frames are so highly artistic that they are works of art in themselves. He made many unique works in collaboration with a wonderful artist, the founder of the so-called "severe" style, Nikolai Ivanovich Andronov. One of their works - a 70-meter wooden panel - adorns the building of the Soviet embassy in Washington.
