Suryaninov Ruben Vasilievich (born 1930)
Russian artist, graphic artist, poster artist, illustrator. In 1956 he graduated from the Academy of Arts of the Latvian SSR. Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR since 1961. Honored Artist of the RSFSR since 1992. He works at the publishing houses IZOGIZ, Fine Arts, Agitplakat, Soviet Artist, Poster Panorama, Sanprosvet and DOSAAF. Illustrates children's books and educational literature in the publishing houses "Enlightenment", "Bustard", "Kid". In 1966, he traveled to Vietnam on a creative trip during the period of hostilities and has since become the best specialist in the topic of heroic Vietnam. He was awarded the Gold Medal at the International Health Education Poster Competition in Bologna, Italy. Since 1956, he has constantly exhibited his works at Moscow, all-Russian and international exhibitions. Works are stored in the Russian State Library, in collections of regional museums, in private collections in Russia and abroad.
