People’s Artist of Russia. Acting Member of the Academy of Artists. Professor in Surikov Moscow State Academic Art Institute. In 1953 graduated from the said Institute. Studied under D. Mochalskiy, M. Cheremnykh, M. Rodionov, N. Ponomaryov. During 1953-1963 created social and public posters. Worked in co-authorship with B.A. Uspenskiy till mid 1980-s. His works can be found in the State Tretyakov Gallery, the State Russian Museum and many museum collections of Russia.
