Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR (1975). In 1966 he graduated from the Moscow Art School ”In Memory of 1905”. He was the chairman of the audit commission of the MOOSKH, the chief artist and director of the Orekhovo-Zuyevo art workshop. Since 1970 - participant in city, republican and all-Union exhibitions, including an exhibition dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of V.I. Lenin (1970), ”Artists of the Central Regions of Russia” (1974), an exhibition of works by Soviet artists in Czechoslovakia (1975), the all-Union exhibition ”On Guard for Peace” (1988) and many others. He was awarded the medal ”Veteran of Labor”, ”For Valiant Labor”. The author's works were reproduced in the magazines: ”Young Artist”, ”Artist”, ”Creativity”, in the newspaper ”Leninskoye Znamya”, in the book ”Moscow - through the eyes of painters” (for the anniversary of Moscow). The artist's works are in the collections of regional museums of Russia, as well as in private collections.
