Graduated from the Leningrad Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture (1939). Since 1939 he took part in All-Union, republican, international exhibitions. The artist's works were published in the Ogonyok magazine, were presented as gifts to foreign diplomatic delegations, and were actively sold abroad.
