Member of AKHRR from 1922. Association of Realist Artists from 1927 (founder member). Union of Soviet Artists 1931. Taught at Moscow Art Institute/ Surikov Institute 1947-49.Awarded Stalin Prize 1942/45. Died in Moscow 1949.
