Member of the Union of Artists (1980). In 1953, he graduated from the Vladimir Art and Crafts School. In the 1960s, he went to sketch with the founders of the Vladimir school of painting, whose influence can be seen in his works. He considered Kim Britov his teacher. He worked as an exhibition designer at VDNKh. Since the 1970s, he has been a regular participant in regional and all-Union exhibitions. The artist's personal exhibition was held in Vladimir in 2004. The author's works are in art museums in Vladimir, Nizhny Novgorod, as well as in private collections.
