Valk Heinrich Oskarovich (1918 – 1998).  Graphic artist, poster artist, cartoonist, illustrator. Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. Worked in the magazine ”Crocodile”. Illustrator of children's literature of the 1950s-70s. He made illustrations for books by many Soviet writers, such as N. Nosov, V. Korzhikov, Agnia Barto, Viktor Dragunsky, Boris Zakhoder, Sergei Mikhalkov and many others.
