Yasnopolskaya V.L. - Still life with flowers and apples.. Year: 1970s Technique: Watercolor on paper. Size: 46х43. Yasnopolskaya Vera Leonidovna (1916 - 1996) Soviet artist, master of watercolors. Graduated from the Moscow Architectural Institute (1933 – 1940). She worked in the workshop of A.V. Shchusev, then with Professor M.P. Parusnikova. She participated in the design of the development of Minsk, in the project for the restoration of the center of Stalingrad, in the design of a sanatorium in Sochi, etc. She was a student of A.V. Fonvizin. The main theme of V.L.’s creativity Flowers are Yasnopolskaya. She took part in exhibitions of the Union of Architects, of which she had been a member since 1941. In 1954, her works were exhibited in London at an exhibition of architectural drawings. Participated in exhibitions in Novosibirsk, Kyiv, Moscow together with the artist B.A. Smirnov-Rusetsky. Works by V.L. Yasnopolskaya are in the art gallery of Novosibirsk, in the Museum of Fine Arts of Kara-Kalpakiya (Nukus), in private collections.
