Graphic artist, watercolorist, easel painter, master of book design, worked in woodcut and linocut techniques. Studied at the art school at typopolitography I.D. Sytin. Graduated from the State Art and Industrial Printing Workshop (1914-1920). Since 1950, teacher and professor of the engraving class at the Moscow State Art Institute. V.I. Surikov. Participant of art exhibitions since 1920. The artist’s works are in the collections of the State Russian Museum, the State Tretyakov Gallery, and the State Museum of Fine Arts. A.S.
