Kokurin Valery Grigorievich (1930, Vladimir - 2019, Vladimir).  Honored Artist of the RSFSR (1980), People's Artist of Russia (1998), Member of the Union of Artists (1960), awarded the gold medal of the Russian Academy of Arts (2005). One of the founders and the brightest representative of the Vladimir school of landscape painting. Studied in an art studio. Kokurin is a participant in many domestic and foreign exhibitions. The artist’s personal exhibitions were held in Moscow (1966, 2002, 2006, 2012), Leningrad (1987), Vladimir (2001, 2002, 2007, 2010), etc. The artist’s works are in museums and private collections in Russia and abroad.
