*Henri Fugere - A javelin thrower.. Year:  1930s Technique:  Tinted silumin, casting. Size:  h-47. Henri Fugere (1872 - 1944) French sculptor, son of the sculptor Leon Fougères. Studied with Pierre-Jules Cavaliere. Since 1893 - participant in exhibitions. Engaged in genre sculptures and female figurines. One of the first sculptors of the Art Deco era. Many of Fougères' sculptures were cast in bronze in the workshop of Sio Decauville.
