Vedernikov A.S. - Nude.. Year:  1960s Technique:  Watercolor, sauce on paper. Size:  35.8x29.8. Vedernikov Alexander Semenovich (1898, Gorodets, Nizhny Novgorod province - 1975, Leningrad). In 1921-1923 studied at art workshops in N.-Novgorod with A.V. Kuprina, A.V. Fonvizin, then Vkhutein in Leningrad (1924-1928) with O.E. Braza, A.E. Kareva. He was a member of the Circle of Artists society (1928-1930). Participant of exhibitions since 1928. He taught at IZHSA (1936-1937), LIIKS (1937-1941), LISI (since 1945). His works were exhibited in London (1929). A personal exhibition took place in Leningrad (1945). The artist’s works are in the State Russian Museum, in many regional museums, as well as in private collections in Russia and abroad.
