Pressman Sofya Borisovna (1904 - 2001) Soviet ceramic artist. In 1930 she graduated from the ceramics department of the Leningrad Higher Art and Technical Institute. After completing her studies, she began working at the Konakovo faience factory. In her creative activity she was engaged in both the creation of unique exhibition works and samples for mass production: ashtrays, jugs, dishes, and figurines. When creating their works, they actively turned to propaganda themes. After leaving the Konakovo plant, Pressman worked for several years in the production and exhibition department of the State Museum of Ceramics in Kuskovo.
