Razumovskaya Yu.V. - Black Sea cruise.. Year:  1961 Technique:  Oil on canvas on cardboard. Size:  34.5x49. Razumovskaya Yulia Vasilievna (1896, Saratov - 1987, Moscow). Graduated from the Saratov Bogolyubov Art School. Studied at the studio of V.N. Meshkov in Moscow, with D.N. Kardovsky at the Higher Art School at the Academy of Arts (1914-1919), then with D.N. Kardovsky at VKHUTEMAS (1924), used the advice of V.I. Surikov. Member of the association of artists ”Zhar Tsvet”. She was engaged in easel graphics, painted portraits, genre and industrial scenes, landscapes and still lifes. Personal exhibitions of Razumovskaya Yu.V. took place in Gurzuf in 1939 and 1940, in Moscow in 1957 and 1967. She worked as a magazine and newspaper graphic artist at the publishing house ”Peasant Newspaper” (1927-1932). The artist’s works are kept in the collections of the State Tretyakov Gallery, the Guggenheim Museum in New York, many provincial museums in Russia, as well as in private collections.
