The artist is an avant-garde artist. Since 1933 - member of the painting section of the Loskh. From 1916 to 1917 he studied at the Odessa Art School. In 1918 he studied at the Saratov State Art Workshops, then at VKHUTEMAS. In August 1922, the artist moved to Petrograd.
