Chief artist of the Political Directorate of the Baltic Fleet. Well-known chart. Studied at VKHUTEMAS/VKHUTEIN (1922-1929). As his graduation work, he completed a series of color autolithographs “Village”. He illustrated books for Detgiz and other publishing houses, created works of easel graphics on historical and ideological themes that were relevant at the time, such as the lithographs “Komsomol members of V.I. Lenin in the Kremlin”, “Farewell of the People to Lenin”, as well as the series “Leningrad in the Siege” (1942-1943), “Nakhimovtsy” (1950-1951), “Volga-Don” (1953-1955), “Leningrad” (1956), “Moscow” (1957-1964), “Children’s Music School” (1959), ”Baltika” (1963). The artist's personal exhibitions were held in Moscow (1944, 1978), Tallinn and Kronstadt (1968). Works by S.S.
