Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. In 1933 - 1941 he studied at the Moscow Art Institute with I.E. Grabar, N.P. Krymova. Diploma dissertation – “Presenting passports to railway drivers”, supervisor A.A. Deineko. Since the 1940s, he has participated in republican, all-Union and international exhibitions. Lived and worked in Moscow. He was engaged in teaching activities. In the 1960s, he created a graphic series dedicated to railway transport. The author's works are presented in many regional museums, as well as in private collections in Russia and abroad.
