Rabinovich Rosalia Moiseevna (1895 - 1988) Soviet painter, graphic artist, set designer, artist of decorative and applied arts. From 1912 to 1916 she studied at the Kyiv Drawing School in the class of A.A. Murashko. From 1918 to 1919 she studied in the studio of decorative arts with A.A. Exter. Subsequently she was a member of the KHLAM group. In 1919 she moved to Moscow, where she studied at the State Higher Art Museum under A.A. Osmerkin and D.A. Shcherbinovsky. And then from 1920 to 1925 she studied at VKHUTEMAS in the workshop of R.R. Falka. She graduated from the workshop as an artist of the first degree in painting. In 1928 she joined the ROSTA association. Since 1929 she worked at a hand-painted fabric factory. Since 1933 she taught at the Central House of Artistic Education of Children named after. A.S. Bubnova in the theatrical design sector. Author of scenography for a number of performances at the State Central Theater for Young Spectators. In 1940 - 1943 she was a member of a team of theater artists in Ashgabat. Since the 1950s, she worked in the Moscow House of Pioneers and the House of Architects.
