The factory produced high-quality porcelain, which was presented at many international exhibitions and fairs. The Gorodnitsa porcelain factory was founded in 1799. Before the revolution, the factory was resold several times. In 1917, it was leased to businessman A. Zasuman, who expanded production and, in addition to tableware, also launched decorative and applied items. Along with painting porcelain, such a popular technique as decal is used. In 1923-1924, the Gorodnitsky plant became part of the All-Ukrainian Trust “Porcelain-faience-glass”, and it was renamed the plant named after. Comintern. The leading direction of the 1920s -1930s. years remains sculptural plastic. Tankers, pilots, pioneers, milkmaids, and collective farmers became popular characters.
