Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. Viting's path to art began in 1928 with attending courses at the Painters' Workshop society in Moscow (teacher K.F. Morozov). Since 1938, Viting has been a student of S.V. Gerasimov at the Moscow Art Institute. However, the organizer of the “Painters’ Workshop”, the author of the manifesto “Tsvetodynamos and Tectonic Primitivism” A.V. Shevchenko, most strongly influenced the creative self-awareness of the young artist. Wieting has been participating in exhibitions since 1930. He actively collaborated with publishing houses (Detgiz, Goslitizdat, Young Guard, etc.). In his work, he was primarily engaged in the search and development of current themes, developing a pictorial language adequate to express the spirit of the times. The artist’s works are in the State Tretyakov Gallery, the Historical, Architectural and Art Museum “New Jerusalem”, the “Overcoming” Museum. N.A.
