Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR (1960), was a member of art councils, a member of the bureau of the painting section of the Moscow Union of Artists. Graduated from the Irkutsk Art School (1949), Leningrad Higher Art and Industrial School named after. V.I. Mukhina (1955). Since 1957 he has participated in regional, republican, all-Union, and international exhibitions. His paintings were sold at world auctions Christie's and Sotheby's.
