Moscow graphic artist, unsurpassed master of the urban landscape. Student V.A. Favorsky, N.N. Kupreyanova. Graduated from VKHUTEMAS-VKHUTEIN (1930). She started working in the field of woodcuts (1928-1930), from the mid-1930s. She devoted herself to easel drawing and watercolors. She traveled throughout Altai, Central Asia, the Volga region, and Transbaikalia, creating landscape sketches and watercolors. The main theme of creativity was the city landscape of Moscow. For the 800th anniversary of Moscow, she created a series of landscapes “Around the ancient Kremlin walls”; in 1952, a series of watercolors dedicated to Leningrad; she painted architectural monuments of Kyiv, Veliky Novgorod, Pskov, Odessa, the Moscow region, and “Yesenin” places. In the late 1950s - 1960s. according to sketches by A.A. Romodanovskaya published postcards and envelopes, her works were reproduced in the magazines “Ogonyok”, “Smena”, “Foreign Literature”, “Soviet Woman”, and in the newspaper “Evening Moscow”. The artist’s works are in the State Tretyakov Gallery, in the Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts. A.S.
