Author's inscription on the back. Expertize:  Certificate by the Center for Artistic Expertise named after I.E. Repin. Kolesnikov Stepan Fedorovich (1879, village of Andrianopol, Ukraine - 1955, Belgrade). He studied at the Odessa Art School (1879-1903), at the Academy of Arts under I.E. Repina, V.E. Makovsky, A.A. Kiseleva (1903-1909). Lived in Odessa. Exhibitor of exhibitions of the Association of South Russian Artists, TPHV. A personal exhibition was held in the halls of the OPH in 1912. In 1920 he emigrated abroad. The artist’s works are kept in the State Tretyakov Gallery, the State Russian Museum, regional museums, as well as in private collections.
