* Danko N.Ya. - Horse reconnaissance.. Year:  The second half of the XX century. Technique:  Faience, modeling. Size:  h-26,5. Descripton:  The label in the test; based on – ”N. Danko, 1938.” Danko Natalya Yakovlevna (1892-1942) Soviet sculptor, artist of decorative and applied arts. She studied at the Central Stroganov School of Technical Drawing (1900–1902), the city art school-studio of Y. Janson in Vilna. In 1909–1914 she worked in the sculpture workshop of V.V. Kuznetsova, where she participated in the execution of sculptural works for buildings in St. Petersburg, Moscow and Kyiv. Since 1914 - sculptor at the Imperial Porcelain Factory (State Porcelain Factory - Leningrad Porcelain Factory named after M.V. Lomonosov), since 1919 - head of the factory's sculpture workshop, since 1925 - responsible for the export of artistic porcelain to Europe and America. One of the most significant masters of “propaganda porcelain”. Author of small porcelain sculptures (individual figures and sculptural groups). Creativity is presented in the State Tretyakov Gallery, the State Russian Museum, the State Museum of Ceramics and the Kuskovo estate of the 18th century, and the All-Russian Museum of Decorative, Applied and Folk Art.
