Sretensky G.A. - In Crimea.. Year: 1960. Size: 50x80. Technique: Oil on hardboard. Signed, dated, and title on the reverse. Sretensky Grigory Alexandrovich (1899, Moscow - 1972, Moscow). He studied at Moscow University, then at a private art studio and VKHUTEMAS with P.P. Konchalovsky (1921). Graduated from the Moscow Theological Seminary. He was a member and one of the organizers of the artistic association “Being” (1921-1929), as well as a member of the Academy of Artists and Artists of Russia. A regular participant in exhibitions, including the exhibition “Artists of the Russian Federation for Fifteen Years” in Moscow in 1933. In the 1930s. decorated holidays in Moscow. Works by G.A. Sretensky are stored in the State Tretyakov Gallery, the State Russian Museum, and many regional museums.
