Tolkunov Nikolai Pavlovich (1917, Novosurino, Moscow region - 1996). Honored Artist of the RSFSR. In 1942 he graduated from the Moscow Art Institute, studied with S.V. Germasimova. Participant of all-Union, republican and regional art exhibitions since 1938. He taught at the Moscow State Art Institute. V.I. Surikov since 1960. The artist’s works are in the State Tretyakov Gallery, in many regional museums and foreign collections.
