Honored Artist of Russia. Honored Artist of the Russian Federation. Professor at the Academy of Arts. Participant of the Great Patriotic War. In 1952 he graduated from the Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture. I.E. Repina. In 1955 he entered graduate school in the workshop of B.V. Ioganson. Traveled a lot in the North of Russia. Member of the Union of Artists of the Russian Federation since 1953. A personal exhibition was held in Seoul in 2000. The author’s works are in the State Tretyakov Gallery, the State Russian Museum, the State Central Museum of the Armed Forces of Russia, the Museum of the History of St. Petersburg, in many regional museums, as well as in private collections in Russia, China, the USA, England, France, Finland, Korea, Denmark.
