This work comes from the collection of the family of Leonid Ivanovich Matveyev (1937 - 2022), a Soviet political figure and First Secretary of the Pervomaisky District Committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union in Moscow. This work was exhibited at the ”Magical Land! A Delight for the Eyes!” exhibition project held in 2025 at the Ostafyevo State Museum-Reserve - ”Russian Parnassus.” Certificate by the Center for Artistic Expertise named after I.E. Repin. Tsvetkova Valentina Petrovna (1917 - 2007). Soviet artist, Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. Honorary citizen of Yalta (1997). In 1930-1935 she studied at the Astrakhan Art College. In 1935-1938 she worked in the association ”Artist” in Astrakhan. In 1938-1940 she worked in a workshop at the House of Arts in Leningrad. Since 1942, she lived and worked in Yalta. Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR since 1944. She participated in exhibitions since 1936, since 1952 — republican, since 1955 — All—Union, since 1965 - foreign (France, Canada). She traveled extensively in the USSR and abroad, worked in France, the Mediterranean countries, India and Egypt, bringing numerous drawings and sketches. In 1950-1972, she was a member of the Board of the Crimean branch of the Union of Artists of the Ukrainian SSR. Personal exhibitions were held in Kiev (1960, 1969, 1976, 1980), Simferopol (1968, 1972, 1985), Moscow (1968, 1980, 2001), Yalta (1975, 1978, 1979, 1997, 2002), as well as in Astrakhan, Kislovodsk, Alupka, Kerch and other cities. The artist's works are in museums and private collections in Russia, Europe and the USA.
