Britov Kim Nikolaevich (1925, Vladimir region - 2010, Vladimir). Painter. Honored Artist of the RSFSR, People's Artist of the Russian Federation, Member of the USSR Union of Artists. Awards: Gold medal of the Russian Academy of Arts, prize named after. I.I. Levitan. Studied at the Mstera Art School, Vladimir Art Studio with N.P. Sycheva. Since 1954 he took part in all-Union and international exhibitions. The first personal exhibition of K.N. Britova passed in 1975. The artist’s works are in the State Tretyakov Gallery, the State Russian Museum, the Vladimir-Suzdal Historical, Artistic and Architectural Museum-Reserve, as well as in museums and private collections in the DPRK, the USA, and Germany.
