Belousov Petr Petrovich (1912, Berdyansk - 1989). Honored Artist of the RSFSR. People's Artist of the RSFSR. Corresponding member of the USSR Academy of Arts. In 1939 he graduated from the Institute. I.E. Repin from the workshop of I.I. Brodsky. Participant of exhibitions since 1930. Member of the Leningrad Union of Artists since 1940. Professor at the Leningrad Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture named after I.E. Repin (1961-1989). The artist’s works are in the State Tretyakov Gallery, the State Russian Museum, and in many regional museums.
