Kolesnikov Stepan Fedorovich (1879, village of Andrianopol, Ukraine - 1955, Belgrade). Realist painter, landscape painter. He received his art education at the Odessa Art College (1897-1903), then studied at the Imperial Academy of Arts in St. Petersburg (from 1903) in the landscape studio of Professor A. A. Kiselyov. He participated in Spring exhibitions in the halls of the Academy of Arts, where his works regularly received awards, including the Kuindzhi awards. In 1912, he held a solo exhibition at the Imperial Society for the Encouragement of the Arts. In exile, he organized an exhibition in Belgrade (1921, 97 works), exhibited in Paris. He was a member of the Russian society ”Community of Artists” and the European society ”Leonardo da Vinci”. The artist's works are kept in the State Tretyakov Gallery, the State Museum of Fine Arts, regional museums, as well as in private collections.
