Expertize:  Certificate by the Center for Artistic Expertise named after I.E. Repin. Burliuk David Davidovich (1882, Kharkov region - 1967, Long Island, USA). Artist, poet, writer. He studied at the Kazan (1898-1900) and Odessa (1899-1900) art schools, the Munich Academy (1902-1903), in the studio of Fernand Cormon in Paris (1904), at the Moscow School of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture (1910-1914). In the 1900-1910s. - one of the leaders of the literary and artistic avant-garde, together with V. Khlebnikov and A. Kruchenykh created the futuristic literary and artistic group “Budetlyane”. In 1922 he moved to the USA, founded a publishing house that published prose, poetry and journalism, and worked for the newspaper Russian Voice. Almost every year he held solo exhibitions in galleries in America. In the 1950s opened his own gallery in Hampton Bays (Long Island). In 1995, a retrospective exhibition of D.D. Burliuk went to the State Russian Museum. His works are kept in the State Russian Museum, the State Tretyakov Gallery, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Brooklyn Museum in New York, and in many Russian museums.
