Honored Artist of the RSFSR (1989). Corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Arts (2001). Laureate of the State Prize of Russia. Studied at Moscow State Art Institute named after. V.I. Surikov (1947-1953) from P.I. Kotova, V.V. Pochitalova, V.K. Unread. Under the leadership of P.I. Kotova completed his graduation painting “Lenin on the Hunt”. Bragovsky is the author of portraits, still lifes and landscape compositions. Participant of exhibitions since 1954. Regular exhibitor of Moscow, regional, republican and all-Union art exhibitions. Solo exhibitions of E.G. Bragovsky took place in 1971 and 1982. in Moscow, in 1991 in the USA, in 1992 in Spain. In 2000, Bragovsky’s personal exhibition was presented by the Union of Artists of Russia at the ART Salon 2000. The artist’s works are in the State Tretyakov Gallery, the State Russian Museum, many regional museums, as well as in private collections in Germany, Japan, Great Britain, Italy, the USA, and France.
