Igoshev Vladimir Aleksandrovich (1921, Askino village, Ufa province - 2007). People's Artist of the USSR (1991), People's Artist of the RSFSR (1961), Honored Artist of the RSFSR, laureate of the I. E. Repin State Prize of the RSFSR (1982), member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. He studied at the Ufa Theater and Art College (graduated in 1940 from I. I. Uryadov and A. E. Tyulkin), then at the Moscow State Academic Art Institute named after V. I. Surikov (1944-1950) from G. G. Ryazhsky, D. K. Mochalsky and V. V. Pochitalov. Participated in All-Union, national and international exhibitions. He held solo exhibitions in Moscow (1967), Leningrad (including the Russian Museum), Ufa, Tyumen, Perm and many other regional centers. Also abroad — in Tokyo (1977), Budapest (1978), Prague, Bratislava and The Hague. The artist's works are in the State Tretyakov Gallery, the State Museum of Fine Arts, as well as in many regional museums. In addition, his paintings are represented in museums and private collections in Austria, Great Britain, Argentina, Belgium, Hungary, Germany and several other countries.
