Domashnikov B.F. - Birch forest.. Year:  1992. Technique:  Oil on canvas. Size:  93х62,5. Descripton:  Signed lower right. Domashnikov Boris Fedorovich (born 1924, Ivanovo region - 2003). People's Artist of the USSR. Corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Arts. Laureate of the State Prize of the Republic of Bashkortostan named after Salavat Yulaev. Graduated from the Ufa Art School (1945-1950), studied with A.E. Tyulkina. Since 1953 he has been a participant in exhibitions, since 1957 a permanent exhibitor at all-Union art exhibitions, and since 1959 at foreign ones. Awarded a silver medal for his work “Outskirts towards Evening” in 1957. Personal exhibitions were held in Ufa in 1953, 1963, 1978, 1991, 1993, 1994, 1995, 1995, 1999, 2000 in 1977 in Birsk; in 1985 in Moscow, 1989 in Magnitogorsk, in 1963 in Ufa, Leningrad and other cities of Russia. Author of landscapes, portraits, thematic paintings. The artist’s works are in the State Tretyakov Gallery, the State Russian Museum, as well as in many regional museums.
