Honored Artist of the RSFSR, member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. He studied at the Moscow Art College in memory of 1905, then graduated from the art studio at the Moscow Institute of Fine Arts (under A.M. Kanevsky), in 1935 he entered the Moscow Institute of Fine Arts, where he studied with S. V. Gerasimov, I. E. Grabar and B. V. Johanson; during the Great Patriotic War he was evacuated to Uzbekistan where he continued to work under the guidance of S. V. Gerasimov. Since 1946, he regularly participated in major art exhibitions, including All-Union exhibitions in Moscow. (1946, 1947, 1949, 1950, 1951). The works of Khaimov, a prominent representative of ”Soviet impressionism” and a master of the plein-air landscape, are represented in museums in Russia, as well as in private collections in Great Britain, Spain, Germany, the USA and Japan.
