Albert Agafonovich Chetverikov (1930-2022) Soviet and Russian landscape painter. He worked in the genres of landscape, still life, portrait. In 1951 he graduated from the Ivanovo Art College. Since the 1950s, he has participated in city, All-Union and international exhibitions. Since 1977, he has been a member of the Union of Artists. He has been on creative business trips a lot, visited the Caucasus, Central Asia, Siberia, the Urals, the Volga region, and the Russian North. In 1967, Chetverikov's work ”Silent Autumn” was acquired by the Royal Academy of Arts of Great Britain for the collection of Queen Elizabeth II. The author's works are represented in the collection of the Ivanovo Regional Art Museum, the Krasnodar Art Museum and other regional museums of Russia, as well as in private collections.
