Slepyshev A.S. - Summer.. Year: 1990s Size: 120х120. Number and title at bottom left. Slepyshev Anatoly Stepanovich (born 1932, village of Lopatino, Penza province - 2016). Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Arts, State Prize Laureate (2002). Studied with A. Deineka at the Moscow State Academy of Arts. V.I. Surikova. In 1990-1996 lived and worked in Paris, during this period about thirty personal exhibitions took place in France. In 1992 he joined the “Maison des artistes” (Paris). Participant in Sothbeys's auction in Moscow. From 1996 to 2001, more than 100 personal exhibitions were held. The artist’s works are in the State Tretyakov Gallery, the State Russian Museum, the Pushkin Museum, and in many regional museums in Russia and abroad.
