This original issue belt comprises a classic blackened leather strap with visible period wear and patina, accompanied by an early pattern aluminium buckle bearing the Luftwaffe eagle with distinctive droop tail wings, clutching a swastika within a laurel wreath. The reverse of the buckle reveals the integrated hidden clasp hook - a key characteristic of early-war manufacture - securely riveted in place. The leather belt measures approximately 110cm in length, with seven pre-set adjustment holes and an additional post-manufacture extension hole, likely added during wartime service for practical resizing.
