Crafted in solid mahogany with a warm, rich grain, the piece features reeded panel details to the door and sides, and is topped with an attractive serpentine galleried back - a classic flourish from the late Victorian to Edwardian transition period. The single door opens to reveal a shelved interior, originally intended for chamber pot storage but now ideal for modern uses - from bathroom storage to a quirky drinks cabinet or hallway stand. The piece retains its original brass escutcheon and period-style glass knob, both in good condition. The back panel is ventilated, a practical feature common in pot cupboards.
