The buckle is constructed of metal, featuring the standard Luftwaffe pattern: a flying eagle clutching a swastika, encircled by an oak leaf wreath. This style of box-style buckle was commonly issued to EM and NCO personnel. The accompanying belt is made of thick leather, dyed black on the exterior surface and retaining a rough, natural dark brown finish on the interior.
