A Collection of East Asian Decorative Objects Including Red Resin Buddha and Dragon, Clay Figures, and Blue and White Porcelain - A collection of East Asian decorative objects comprising sculptures, ceramics, and boxed writing implements. The collection features two large molded composite resin sculptures finished in a deep reddish-maroon high-gloss coating, simulating cinnabar lacquer. These sculptures depict a stylized dragon and a figure of Budai, the Laughing Buddha. Also included are seven small, unglazed earthenware or clay figures, exhibiting a pale tan tone and depicting scholars or possibly figures from the Eight Immortals. The lot contains one hexagonal, lidded porcelain stacking box decorated in cobalt blue underglaze with panels showing bamboo and naturalistic scenes. The final components consist of a fabric-covered presentation tray containing four small, rectangular black ink sticks decorated with gilt and colored motifs.
