Chinese Export Famille Rose Porcelain Jardinière on Carved Wooden Stand, Bearing Seal Mark - Chinese Export Ware, 20th Century. A globular porcelain jardinière, or fish bowl, decorated in the polychrome overglaze Famille Rose palette against a rich cobalt blue ground. The exterior features dense, auspicious motifs, including large peaches (symbolizing longevity), gourds, and clusters of grapes and berries, interwoven with foliage and small stylized creatures. The decoration is applied with vibrant pink, yellow, green, and iron red enamels. The interior rim is banded with geometric and floral patterns, and the inner bowl surface features a single, large orange-red goldfish swimming. The unglazed ceramic base bears a centered, faint overglaze iron red seal mark, likely a reign mark or studio mark. The vessel is presented on a custom-fitted, dark stained wooden display stand featuring stylized curved legs.
