French Empire Revival Ormolu Mounted Burr Walnut Cocktail Cabinet - A large, two-part cabinet, likely dating to the late 19th or early 20th century, executed in the French Empire Revival or Neo-Classical style. The structure is veneered in light-toned wood, likely burr walnut, and extensively decorated with gilt bronze or brass mounts (ormolu). The cabinet is divided into a lower base section featuring two central doors flanked by pilasters, supporting an upper, slightly recessed vitrine section also secured by two doors. Ormolu decoration includes ornate foliate plaques, decorative key escutcheons, molding along the cornice, and decorative feet. The upper section is fitted as a display or cocktail bar, featuring mirrored back and side panels and multiple glass shelves attached to both the interior case and the doors. No maker’s marks or inscriptions are visible.
