Mahogany Sleigh Style six Drawer Tallboy Chest - A tall, narrow chest of drawers, commonly referred to as a tallboy or chiffonier, executed in the Sleigh or Empire style. The piece is constructed of darkly stained wood, consistent with mahogany, and features a high-gloss finish. The classical design includes a heavy moulded cornice and a stepped base supported by bracket feet. The chest is configured with five uniformly sized drawers stacked vertically and a further smaller drawer at the top. Each drawer face is delineated by a simple recessed trim and fitted with two round, turned wooden knobs, totalling ten knobs.
